Here's a new icon I wipped up for my myspace.

"Outside Looking In"

I drew the image in the middle ground then drew the foreground in photoshop. And added a motion blur to some noise for the background.

Bloody hell it's been awhile since I've been here. But I've just been neglecting this place cause I haven't really had much to show. But since it's time to start making shit I figure I should show my progress in that department. So here it is

It's an idea I had for a shirt. It'll have the text "Can't sleep animating". I just figured it be good practice and cool to do it in 3-d instead of just drawing it by hand. So far I'm still tweeking the model various models. Next step will be textures.

I love how the shoes came out.

Cool made up band I did a t-shirt for. I wish it was a real band. I love the name.

Today I have a triple whammy. Stuff I've drawn in pencil, then inked, then run through photoshop. So let's begin.

This is apart of my thesis. It's going to be a design on my character's t-shirt. I dig it. Got a nice look cause of a few photoshop tutorials I got sent by the gaming people.

This is something I did a few days ago. I wanted a nice marble looking background, but I didn't have the time or energy to draw it in by hand. But I think this came out pretty good.

Well after about on and off work for a couple of weeks. I have model chucks with shoe laces. It took fucking forever with the shoelaces, but I am pleased with the result hehe. Take a look

Well I spent some more time in my drawing room aka The Angry dome. Here's what I got for yea.

This is one of the first things I drew in the room. I like it. It's all pencial.

"Thought Process"

I just like the inking on this. Especially how the background came out because of the sharpie.

Hey hey my loyal fans(dave). Since I'm bored at work and I haven't for awhile I wanted to do something. AN UPDATE!!!!!

Granted I have nothing newly scanned to put up here but I thought, hey. I got tons of crap on photobucket I can put up, so here we go. My photos from digital photo and one from my photo 1 class.

"wallside"

These are two pictures of the weather scarred walls of the art building.

"Flying Papers"

This was an assignment to show a freeze. Where you set the shutter speed fast, so you can get everything clear and still. I then took it and messed with it in photoshop.

"Decoration"

This is an upclose view of a christmas decoration I had in my window of my house. Such nice colors

"Lamp"

Just a photo I liked of my living room lamp. I like the shapes it made. Also, if you look in the frame near the lamp, there is another picture I took.

"clown"
I threw an old clown doll I have on my scanner and scanned it in. It looked really awesome

"In the Deep"

Like the clown I put a scuba diver toy on my scanner. Was thinking of adding more elemnts to make it look like he was diving, but never got around to it.

"Ghost of the animation lab"

This is a picture I took to deal with motion blur. A slow shutter speed, and a lot of movement blurs out the object, like in the pic.

I finally got off my ass and edited my animation so I can stick it online. So here it is, my animation, just click the links.

This is a short segment of my full animation that's like 2 and a half minutes. Here he's dancing to "Never Going Back to New Jersey" by Less than Jake. It love the model, it was a pain in the ass however to animate the thing till it was at least move worthy. I think in all it took me either one or two full days(24 hours each)over the course of a month to finish this thing.

Here is a walk cycle. I had to re-rigg this thing to make it actually do what I wanted it to do. Wasn't ewasy, this took me at least 7 or so hours to finish. However I think I banged it out in one day.

Drawing(of sorts) Day

Hey hey, my loyal readers. I have an update for you. Two new peices I made.

First:

This is dedicated to my friend Jess. She recently won a orange crayon at six flags and changed her myspace name to ninja pirate. So I thought of "JESS, PIRATE NINJA, AND HER CRAYON OF DEATH." Also she likes my stuff and she is drawing something for me, so I thought, why not. Hell if you wanna comission me(you wouldn't have to pay me, just spread my work around, luckly you caught me in the early stages of my career).

Here is just something that I planned to ink, but I just really liked the look of just pencil and called it done. It is a tad lame but I think it's pretty cool. Besides I call this piece "Study of light and dark".

Graphic Design Day

I just relaized I really haven't shown what my graphic design looks like. Well lucky you my graphic design teacher is crazy and made us photograph our work. LEt me know what you think.

This my first project, we had to take a word and use an image to redefine it. I think I did pretty good

These are the I love I hate poster, we had to chose something and use inages and color to show hate or love, mine was tv.(That's my mom holding them up for me)

Nexts is the stamp project. I hates this project cdause nothing I did, Allan liked. So it was just frustration upon frustration. It came out okay.

Here is my AIGA poster, aiga is a group of graphic artist who set up this thing about a report and we had to make work based on that report to gain awareness to it. I don't really feel like explaining it. Yea, haha I'm lazy.

Here is the logo I designed, on a letterhead and an envelope.

Finally here is my book. This is the thing I had to get Jon to drive back and forth to get printed, cause we don't know about bleeds. It came out pretty good. I'm proud of it.

Finally finished up with my first real drawing. It's been a long time since I just sat down and drawn something for the fun of it, from my own imagination.
